Welcome To The Table Mountain Sativa Spectacular

Hey. Will update soon. I took a job as a brand chef for a very popular restaurant brand and was opening a new store in Somerset West.
Decided the job wasn't for me as I had worked 17 days straight for 16 hours min a day. Then one day off and another roster that had me doing the same hours.
I've been there and done that. I am no longer a bachelor and with three kids that need me at home and, not being the breadwinner by a long shot I'm more use to my family at home.
Also nor ok with working double the hours for the same pay. I'm over that exploitation. Anyway it was a really good job but not for me .
So as a result of me being away so much my grow (personal) on the deck is not rocking my world this year. I'll post some pics when I get a chance to fart. It's school holidays so...
The seeds have been dried and rested and yesterday I managed to plant a whole tribe of each for germination testing and will flower out about 5 of each. I kinda know what to expect so 5 confirmations of each will satisfy me. Managed to harvest about 3000 seeds from that run. A couple of the seed plants didn't Rock my world so I need to grow them out to check if they are good enough to join the other lines in the bank.
Then it's packaging and sending off pre orders and a few that were intercepted that I need to replace.
Other than that, I'll get you some pics soon but in the meantime you can cast your eyes onto this beauty that was a small reveg a month ago now the best one on deck

This is excellent news. I'm glad something of your grows are rocking your world!

That's an amazing reveg Lerugged, looks a beauty!
Shame about the job, but yeah, I concur on the feeling of getting screwed on the pay hours, nice to have the family time.

Hey awesome people.
Finally got a sec to snap some pics, not a breath of air and the sun is right up high. Burnt my feet to shit taking these so enjoy ;)
First up Holly's Harvest
She is Finally starting 5 bladed leaves so will produce a decent crop I hope. I've stripped her down and removed the first node from every branch and side branch in order to remove the extra mess and push her to focus on growing up. Stretch has started right on schedule so I hope she gets some height. Lots of tops here. She stinks as usual

Next up the Miss Sticky back cross really pushing hard. Happy days here

She is going to produce with all those branches. Thick thanks to the wind.

Then the Super Silver Durban x? Is only putting out 3 bladed leaves now. They are serrated so hoping she will stretch into something. Bad timing with her

stripped her back to the bones and tops to push the growth where I want it to go.

Unknown but likely Holly's Harvest cross
20230107_131917.jpg

A reveg of Miss Sticky no 1 crossed with anyone of the landraces I've been pollinating with. Likely Miss Sticky no 3 the parent for Holly's Harvest. She grew out during winter and she is the more delicate one in the big barrel.

Here is the Malawi landrace

The wind has been pumping the last few days but today's a stunner

Another Holly's Harvest that's was started late
You will see a bit of yellowing around and yes I got caught a couple of weeks ago missing a feed. I give them some nitrosol every other week. The ones in the small pots at least. Others mostly water. Anyways it's fixed and I'll be top dressing with worm castings this week too. That should do until end of harvest.

Some fem testers I just sprinkled are doing well but, being so young they have not had a chance to adapt to the intense sun and heat so they are canoeing some. The toughest survive and these landraces are super tough

Then of course the mountain and the weather forecast for the day

Nothing close to as big as last year but, they are all tested and high quality strains so hopefully they do their thing. The sun is crazy intense so hoping that's going to continue.
Have an awesome weekend yo

So just a quickie.
Stretch is in full swing
Holly's Harvest
Looking pretty smart. Cleaned out a lot of fuzzy branches to free up some space. Hoping for at least double the length of the branches after stretch. Fingers crossed.
Really loving what digging those sweetpeas in had done for the condition of both soil and plant. I'll be doing that from now on
Here she is

LeRugged- Your pics dissapeared in post #873 (unless you edited them out?)
Checked out your plants, went back to look again...gone... 🤔
If you didn't edit them out, let Marc Ocean know- this was a problem I was having about a year ago, some glitch in the software or something ...

BTW- the plants look damn good!👍
