Sir Grow Alot - High Brix Flux - Sage n Sour

right on Doc so you suggest your landraces and sativa Dom VS. the kush's and other similar indica heavy strains right?

sorry to hear the recipe is unstable as of current!! Best of luck to you guys getting it worked out because obviously that would be a big hit and I know I could def use some too :)

I just realized you have another LED journal running im off to see whats up!!!

The less a strain has been crossed, the better it will grow in HB soil.....generally speaking.

There are exceptions, but as a general rule, landrace or simple crosses will be better adapted to soil and biology, whereas some of the modern era strains, like the OG's and others are adapted to high salt environments.

They still grow fine in HB, they just don't taste the same. My "old school" stuff comes out better in HB than the newer strains do in their optimal environment, so as much as you can, try to stay "primitive."

Sga...mine are 3 weeks from pistils or flower start, Not from flip.Flip was 11 days before .
Ya that breeder flower time thing is really only a loose guideline eh.....and with this H.B. (Doc's.blend) soil...it seems to extend the fl. time a little as well. I found that the gland heads are reluctant to turn amber (start of degradation),the plants are happy just sitting there....for ever it seems..:passitleft:

Would like to see a pic or two of the P.H. when you find your charger bud! Cheers.

Well again yours look great!

as for the degradation of the gland heads I noticed something very non conclusive of course last plant I finished. it was the Afghan Kush Ryder and granted it was an auto but I finished on cat drench and noticed what seemed to be like an increase in amber gland heads after it.... may or may not be anything related not sure...just something I noticed.

I found the charger:cheesygrinsmiley: so pics to follow!

Thanks for that bit Doc, I have a Durban poison im gonna have to try out since its the only pure strain I have!!! ive been just looking at it in the corner of the veg room...I guess its time to get her out in the spot light.:)

SGA,lookin good bro....well on there way! Just curious ...what kind of lighting you got?Cheers.

as of right now im flowering under a 1000w hortilux hps with a 6" air cooled radiant reflector and vegging under 2 of the top led 3w diode "300" watt units. since moving to a bigger space I had to bust out some old equipment ive had set aside...very glad I didn't sell them now :)

SGA, great looking garden! Yeah! Bring out the Durban..no wallflowers..:)

Thanks Ziggy! Durban coming soon :):)....what do you mean no wallflowers??:hmmmm: :)

update pics from last night 10/19/14

sage n sour:
Sns is doing her thing, packing on the frost and starting to put on some stink. I have been gone for almost all week so while I was gone everyone was on water only to just stay alive while I was out. SNS needed some more Epsom added this last week but didn't want the person taking care for me to have to mess with anything extra. so its not terrible but worse than I would have cared to let the mag def go but she was fed with another 1/2 tsp per gal last night so in the next week to come I expect everything to be just fine after a few more drenches.
drinking a gallon every day and a half in 15 gal pot so shes def and active lady :)

bubble gum:
on day 21ish I cleaned up the lowers on this one and only left the sites worth making worthy nugs or colas. This plant is in some 2nd run soil that wasn't recooked so I believe there is just high alkalinity in the soil and could prolly use a flush but ive yet to do so , she is packing on resin and size so ill honestly just let this one ride to the end.

purple haze:
gorgeous plant. both the p haze and cheese candy are in what I considered "properly recooked 2nd run soil" and look to be loving it. the nodes are stacking real well and looking to be setting up for some real dense nice colas. A little longer veg time and this plant might have made it to my favorite in the group currently flowering.

cheese candy:
CC is stretched out but I think its about done with that phase and starting to set into flower development well now. She seems to be hooked up well based on the look of the leaves. This Is my favorite plant in the room right now. just love the size and structure of it.:)

Gorgeous set of plants - really nice! :thumb:

Thanks GT!!:Namaste: that means a lot coming from a grower such as you :high-five:
....................................................................................................................................

ive been cooking all my trim into cocnut oil for the last few weeks now and LOVE it. Ive used butter in the past but my body dosent take so well the eating butter straight.

i use the coconut oil at night for insomnia and dont cook it into anything but obviously could if you wanted.

I "Decarb" my trim and hash before adding it to the oil where i then "cook" it for 4 hrs, after material and oil is mixed together, in the oven in a pyrex dish covered with foil at 220 degrees F.

at 3 tsp/ night With the 36g of trim and 5g of dry sift i cooked into 414ml of cocnut oil i sleep very very very :) very well :cheesygrinsmiley:

so it helps me with sleep which translates into many positive things for my health mentaly and physically. then the oil has good fats that inturn aid in health. also lets not forget feeding our cannabonoid system as well :):):cheesygrinsmiley:

I really enjoy this :)

anyone else who hangs out doing this??

i really wanna try this fluxing - looking good!

i really wanna try this fluxing - looking good!

its fun especially if you like being hands on with your plant...just be patient and designate a lot of time for veg to get them to the desired size for flower...

Light Addict is the guy to check out if you want to learn from the same man I did :) his journal is very informative, but of course stay around here and hang out, would love to have yea around :)

Subbed wanna learn high brix and love the flux grow

SGA,

Plants are beautiful! Great job! :) Yes, I make oil, butter, and tinctures. :) all great stuff for anything edible really.

That's awesome to hear Ziggy, what is your preferred method of the lot if you could only do one??

Hey Zig, i'm gonna make some butter in the next few days and was wondering how much produce you would use in the MB2 if using 1.5 lbs. of organic butter?I was gonna go woth 1,1/4 oz's. ,sound good? Gonna try making some choc chip muffins first try. It's mainly for my GF ,who's never smoked or tried our beloved plant. Should be a hoot....I hope!:hmmmm:

LOL don't let her eat to much to start...I have some hilarious stories giving people, even long time smokers, edibles much to their demise. wether it be dizzy, nauseous, or throwing up leaving work and walking home because you cant drive:laughtwo::laughtwo:(that one happened to my old boss lololol)

do you plan to use shake/trim or full on flower, that makes a fairly big diff in how much to use

I laughed when I told her when she comes over we can make some magic muffins together.("aint seen nothing ,till you've bin down on a muffin") LOL. What a hoot! Told her she won't be going any where after.....she just looked at me all weird....she has no idea LOL.
