Mine did too. Back down to 1.52 EC now and the auto watering system is working. Lol

Hey guys, do either of you know how to make sense of this chart or ppm? Damn I just started checking EC vs ppm and I'm on a new learning curve. Nothing made sense.
I'm trying to see what your feeding lol. Is 1.2 500 or 700ppm?
And seems that's my answer to what meter I'm using lol. Wtf? So maybe I need an ec meter?

Neither. 1.2 EC is 600 TDS. 1.2x500= 600
Now really 1.2 EC is 840 ppm

There's two or three stupid conversions all with different ppm same EC. The testers are either 500, 650 or something and 700ppm converters michcallins. I think from what I remember.

EC is the number that the other two scales are based on. TDS is EC x 500 and PPM is EC x 700. Most meters sold in the US are TDS meters. That's what I have, so I make sure to list my totals as TDS so it's clear to anyone doing the math. As long as you know what scale your meter is using you can translate EC numbers to match your system.

I use my tds pen and I'm usually around 600-900 ish

I have a small RO water filter which gets the TDS at like 36, rest is nutes and stuffs

My normal tap is like 400 TDS, it's nasty

I was thinking about an RO system but they waste too much water for LA. And I recall Penny saying he had deficiencies crop up when he went RO so he went back to tap.

I run about 600 TDS nutes in veg and close to 1000 in full flower. I'm a more-is-more kinda guy . Might just be the Fox Farms nutes though.
