Well... Hestia is looking a little weak, not sure if she will make it. Forgot to take a pic of her, but here's the rest.

pH has been dropping into the 4s, thinking I might need to do a res change if it doesn't stay in the acceptable range today, not sure what else to do. Don't want to flood it with pH up.. Suggestions?

I'd do a res change if you're close to your usual periodic refresh. Get your res to 6.0 and fix a batch of pH water to add when you close in on 5.5 again.

I'm just a beginner though, figured a sounding board is all you really needed anyway..

Haha it's just to help stir the solution if I put some pH down/up in or scoop hydroton out of the res. Definitely no trick that's going to make me get 1.5 gpw

Got my numbers stabilized after a thorough res change, already in week 7 of 12/12. Time to start looking closely at some trichs!
