Yes...with drenches. don't feel you need to add cal mag to your water. It might not hurt, but then again it might not help. The drenches have lots of calcium.

Mornin Klinger....I've bin using distilled for all my grows for a lot of yrs.....no problem as Doc says...alls good brotha! Sometimes , depending on the strain i'l supplement w/epsoms but only if doing a "Frankenstrain " or OG type. Cheers eh!

Klinger, I'm in thre privileged position of coming in 10 days behind you, with plants with some if the same genetics growing in the same soil. I can't help but learn and be guided by what you do with your girls

Screwups going well.
So I've been thinking: we generally do transwater between GE drenches as a rule throughout the life of the plant. Then Scrubby says "I like to pound a hard trans drench prior to cat". Then I ended up with circumstances that were whatever and had to adapt and watch.
What I "think" I'm learning is that around week 3 of flower we could switch from GE's with Transwater between, to Trans Drenches with weak GE between. This would happen just once or twice (around and just prior to Cat timing), but just seems like a good idea going with the genearl concept of our pracitices? Note: I did not do this correctly this time, my girls did not get enough GE drenches through their first couple weeks of flower and have been in catchup mode since.
Thoughts? Am I way wrong?
Day 30 since flip. Cat #1 in 2 days.
Got a free open source camera app that is crushing the OEM one. Macro mode ftw!

Been playin catchup with low rH forever, but it also seems with mag def since about week 2 or 3. Now some other leaves are looking to me like Calcium deficiency which troubles me concerning our methods (the whole point is to end up with high calcium product!?). I haven't used any outside products that would spike K or anything, not sure what else may lock it out? Thinking another solid month to go on these and I want them to live for it! Buds are amazing now but...I need them in a month!.. and to fill out between now and then!
Hopefully after Cat#2 we can get some nice GE feeds in there to help...

My flower plants need watered every two days usually also. My rh goes from around 50% at lights off to the low 40s when the lights are on. I can't really get it to stay any higher than that.

I was warned these pigs would eat.
Starting last weekish they've been getting a quart or 2 of water a day, its getting better. I think the deficiencies are a different thing though. Instinct and research tells me CalMag of some kind, but not doing it. Next time way more soil up in these bitches!

Cat #2 yesterday. Things are getting cool. If thick frost was exciting last week, something completely different is happening. The plants are all bud with some leaf, and no version of the other way round. Overall leaf color is darker, we aren't gonna get away from damage before finish, it may be the price to pay to run these lights at 1150w! Anyway the buds are just stacking and getting really heavy. Everything on the bottom of the canopy is turnin to cola and I'm pretty sure I have alot of staking/supporting to do to get these gals through the end. Great problems. Excited to see how they respond to some healthy rounds of GE before they finish!

The low Rh, is a challenge but you're definitely going to harvest something nice.
Still, something is not quite right with the roots. Oh well, they'll finish and they look pretty damn good!

I've got some leftover soil of the first batch that I was gonna use for the next round of solos and 1gals...wondering if I should throw it away...kinda counting on using all this soil again...concerned not just about the unused but as well as recycling the old... It was really cold most of the time it cooked....Its been in the warm shed all summer though....
The roots have definitely filled out the big containers though..(they didn't stay compacted)
I know you're right though.. I just want to finish well and be able to re use the soil...and be able to correct my problems/mistakes...
