Haven't given an update for a while. I had planned on closing this thread out after the last harvest. Tonight it took me a long time to remember stuff like, when my beans popped, when the last AK47s went into flower etc... i realize that I have depended on this thread as my only log for my grow if I need to go back and check dates and practices...lol
I may not give regularly scheduled updates, but I will be logging the important dates and stuff that I can't remember in my head. I will try to keep it often enough to not get shuffled to the dreaded purgatory of "Incompleted Journals"...haha
I have still been keeping up with y'alls grows and will continue to do so. I lurk a lot without commenting, I know, it's my social anxiety thing that kicks in sometimes.
Enough rambling and on to the Snake Farm.
I put my last AK47 clones into flower a week ago. I have about a lb of AK47 smoke in jars still. I'm stocked up for a while on it.
I have a successful re-veg on my AK47 cherry pheno....Yea!!!
Here's the new babies. 8 THC Bomb and 4 Afghani. All from regular seed so I hope to get at least 6-8 girls.
Going to get caught up on everyone's journals this week.

Wow. I just finished reading through this whole blog. Took about three days but I finally managed. You got one heck of a setup there GG. You seem pretty darn knowledgeable in the ways of the green. I'm hoping to get a setup to manage just two plants on a perpetual grow, but with the amount I smoke a setup like yours would be preferable.
I'd sub to this thread if I knew how. Could anyone give me a hint on what/where to click to sub?

Welcome Nightmask! My plants may not be center-fold eye-candy by the end but they produce well for me. I only spend an average of about 1 hour per week in the grow. I don't fuss over them too much like I did in the beginning. I spend more time trimming out the harvest than I do tending them start to finish...lol I'm getting better about tending them daily again now.
Hi Norcali, you are right, this pheno would be great for a SOG. It was grown in a 3.5gal pot and yielded about 1-1/2oz. Very easy trim and even the smallest bottom buds are big enough for a small joint or bong session for two people. I could only get about 9 pots per side of the tent with these round 3.5s. If I has some square pots I could easily have 16 per side which would be 1-1/2lb per side. I only have one cutting of her left and may veg it up to mother.
Here's the new spring run at 33 days. You can sure tell the difference in the strains. The afghani are slow to take off while the THC Bomb grows like crazy. When up-potted the THCB never slowed down growing about an inch per day since she hit the 8" pots.
I cleaned up my cloner tonight and am treating my water to have it going tomorrow. I'm going to take the tops as cutting on the THC Bomb this time. Last time I used LST and the tops still stretch about 3 feet. I wil prob top them twice before flower. Playing it by ear.

You know if you have to many problems with stretching, is acouple little things that could help,, top and then only wait 3-4 days before flowering, or the first week of flower use MH lighting instead of HPS. HPS lends to stretching. That is if your using HID lights.. I'd imagine the veg light on a LED wood accomplish the same thing,, I'd think.. Keepem Green

Grow Update
The THC Bombs have started bushing out nicely since they were topped last weekend. The 4 afghanis are looking good also. None have shown sex yet. As soon as the THC Bombs drop their panties I will top them again and give them few days to recover before up-potting and tossing into flower. Thanks for the tips, Norcaliwood. I don't really have a stretching problem as much as a "no headroom" problem. I only have about 4-1/2 feet from the floor to the light in my tent under the house. This THC Bomb is way more sativa dom than I expected. Stage warned me and recommended slapping them with the pimp hand to control them when I first grew this strain. lol
Here is the AK47 re-veg plant after about 2 months out of flower and back on the veg table.
On a final note, here is the last two AK47s in flower. These were used as mothers and tried to start flowering in veg so they didn't give me much stretch when sent to flower but they have lots of branches.

Thanks Ditch and cannaruss. I'm still kicking MiOutdoorsman. I have been moving slow on the grow but these THC Bombs haven't slowed down at all.
Grow Update:
My vegging station runneth over today..haha I have 4 THC Bomb girls so far to add to the 1 Afghani girl this round. I have 2 more THC Bombs that look like girly parts but haven't spit out them little hairs yet. They were very thirsty tonight and got another feeding (hungry bitches for sure). I will top them for the second time tomorrow and give them a few days to recoup and send to flower. I know they are going to stretch a lot but I love a good fight. Got my pimp-hand ready. I will get pictures of all the girls when they go into flower.
The two AK47s finishing up in the tent. They are loving all the elbow room and HPS. They are getting so purdy I had to take a few pics tonight.

I've had a productive evening in the grow room also. I sent 4 THC Bomb girls and 1 Afghani girl to flower tonight. I think I have 2 more THCB girls and 2 dudes, but giving them a couple more days to be sure. I have much more room on the veg table now.

Thanks Norcaliwood, good tip. I think I have a piece of panda film left from a roll that would cover the veg table. It may protect the wood from constant moisture and dirt and clean off easier. If I can't find it, I do have some flat white paint.

I have lots of rooted clones on the veg table to chose from for the next round.
