Heavenly Hybrid 2nd Grow: Blackberry Kush, Coco Grow, LED450

New seeds for the new year sounds like a brilliant plan! I don't know how much control you have over your environment but you might want to take a look at Archiweedies' thread on Vapor Pressure Deficit. It's all about how RH and temperature interact and how to make it benefit the plants.
Vapor Pressure Deficit & What It Means To You!
Thanks Shed, good info! I do have some control. My temps and rh fluctuate a fair amount with lights on/off. I manage the range as well as as I can, so maybe I’ll try to bump it up a bit more without going over 60% when lights are out.

And Heavenly Hybrid commanded - off with their heads!! Each girl now has her x - pattern for the quadline, leaving the 3rd and 4th nodes only.

I’m attemptimg to follow Asesino’s method as closely as I can. He says to be sure to leave the tiny leaves at the base of the 4th node, so I was careful to leave them untouched when I pinched the tops from each girl. I plan to see how they recover tomorrow, because I want to move the bigger girls to bigger pots as soon as I can. I know they need to be in good shape before I can do that though. We’ll have to see what tomorrow brings!

Girls are looking good HH! I wouldn’t rush the transplant. Giving them the recovery time they need and not stress shocking them will help keep the growing strong. The starts of your quadlines look good! I’ve been spreading my critical+2.0 girls out more and more each day! Tomorrow they will be getting a bit more tying down. Looking forward to seeing how yours come along! I’m right here beside you with my first Quads to and I must say they are a pleasure to grow and train so far! I can’t wait to get them into flower and see what they do!

and I really don't know anyone who eats turkey soup
Guilty!

My wife makes an awesome turkey soup. I've watched her make it and the hardest part is getting the turkey calm enough to jump in the hot water. Once you slam the lid on him he's fine. Delicious!

 My mother in-law makes a great turkey soup but I don’t think it’s as interesting as your guys version! Lol

Ok, thanks Dutch! I was pressuring myself to get them into bigger pots, because they’ve been doing this drooping on and off, but you’re totally right. I’ll be sure to wait til they’re ready. I’ve been peeking on them all day, and it looks like they did not like being topped. I’ll see how they look tomorrow and go from there. I’m behind on your journal, trying to get caught up again so I can compare to your quads!

I think you did a great job and topped them at the perfect time. I also think that they will all enjoy being put into a new home soon. Dutch is right about not wanting to do too much stress at one time but when plants go into stress this healthy, you could really turn around and transplant a day or two later. I've done transplanting and topping in one day and had no problems but I wouldn't recommend it. Better to error on the safe side imo.

Thanks for checking in Ase, I’ve been referring back to your current grow for each step. Really nice that you’re just ahead of me, and Dutch too. :high-five:

I anxiously check the girls this morning and they are looking a bit better. They were pretty droopy last night. I’ll continue to monitor.

Piper seems to be taking everything in stride. The other two still have some droopy leaf tips, maybe they’re still recovering? I’m also watching the new growth, it seems a lot lighter than it usually is. Deficiency of some kind? Going into research mode, unless someone wants to chime in with the answer @InTheShed? I thought I remembered reading it could mean N def? Maybe it’s nothing and just the brighter color of new growth? I’ll get some non purple pictures up later today. I first noticed it when I did my topping yesterday, it may show in those photos for right now.

New growth tends to be lighter green that darkens with exposure to light. I'd be careful about trying to correct possible deficiencies at this early stage unless they're obvious ones.
Ok, thank you Shed. I did take some correct color photos. I’ll add them just for monitoring’s sake.
