ok...so I have won 5 seeds...(really stoked about that and humbled as well). I am thinking of getting the Zeus. I have reservations because it is supposed to be a very difficult grower and not fem.

I am also thinking of getting the WW again or maybe the crown royal or the green crack. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I am leaning strongly with the green crack. That along with the PK would be a good indica 10 week grow i think. Purple and Green buds, high thc levels and cool smells from the descriptions. I would also try to get that grow in the contest..lol

So about this grow now.,,,,
The tent looks good. A lot less leaves and increased air flow. The canopy is not as even as I would like, but a lot better than last grow. I do have some spots that did not get a whole lot of tops in there. I was hoping the plants would stretch a bit more into those areas, but overall i am very happy. Last grow I had 54 colas, right now I have not done a full count, but at 10 tops/plant (I think it might even be higher) that is at least 80 colas. I will know a little better in 3 weeks. We are just past 3 weeks in a 10 week grow. So not even half way yet.

Lots of bud sites, just like last time. However the budsites are more exposed to light this time. Really will be interesting to see if and how much of a difference that makes. For now, I am just leaving them alone and letting them east and rest. They are already trying to replace all of the fans that I took. In just 48 hours it is starting to get dense again. They just keep at it. I am going to take that as an excellent sign.

TYVM LA! I am pretty happy with the canopy...not a table top look like yours but much better than last time. That journal you linked me said to leave them be for 20 days, so I will try to not take anymore leaves for another 20 days. that will take me to the 6 week mark and then I will leave them alone for 3 weeks and then give them a flush. That is the plan. Is it ok or advisable to continue cropping (bending the stems and branches) after the 3 week mark? I have a few that are still pushing up and I am thinking of bending them again to get them back down to the level of the rest. Would you recomend this or advise against it?

Still trying to find my groove on this topic. I probably should have this most recent go around, the canopy just get way too full. Actually, I just harvested my girls this weekend. I got plenty of dank tops, but nothing really 9" below the canopy. I'll have get some pictures online later.

So I am going for it. I also have a baseline to compare with. I got a gr/wat last time. So I am hopping for 2 - 3 x that. We will see. more tops and budsites in the foot print with the most par. Thanks Vlad. I am still not sure what I am going to go with. I think Zeus is out purely because it is not fem. I am really leaning towards the WW again. It was great smoke. But there are a few other options that are interesting as well.

Good genetics are hard to come by. I don't know what is in the Zeus but having a little pet project around couldn't hurt if it's in the name of bringing your clients something trendy that they may get hooked on.

I tried receiving free seeds 2 times but because they were not stealth packed, the mail rats took them.

Good luck with whatever strain you choose. Fems and Autos sure make the grow scene super easy!

That should be a good yield. This go around I only pulled about a kilo of wet product off a 400 watt bulb. Its in the dry room right now, but it will be about 200 - 250 dry. I think I dropped the ball by using an older HPS bulb. The canopy had plenty of dank nugs, but I can tell the light didn't penetrate as far down as it did last go around. And I am sure I could have benefited from some defol, along with the usual lollipoping.

I just put 5 more clones of the PPPO into the flower tent under 400 watt MH. As you can see, they vegged about 3 weeks longer than they should. I am not going to ScrOG these, just let them grow all natural.

Sorry for the thread hijack. Its fun to see what others can do with the same strain though. I need to start my own journal on here.

If you do start a journal please let me know. I will be sure to follow along. I tried to find other journals for the Tut and PPP but there just arent any (well there was for the Tut, 2 of them, but they had different setups and one did not finish). I would love to have more of clear idea of what this strain is supposed to do. Your buds look great btw. Once mine were done in the jars after 4 weeks they really looked like they were dipped in sugar. Also popping the tops to check on them or pull some out stinks up the whole room BAD! Super smelly, and has that citrus smell kinda like lemons. Really cool but I wish it was not so strong.

If I had more space and time to mess with it, I would agree Vlad. I would love to have a little 4' square tent in a space by itself to play with. I just dont have the time or space to really do anything with it. I have thought about the auto's but am not ready to pull the trigger on them yet. I really am having a fun time thinking about what I want to grow though.

Yeah everyone wants variety. They say they want new stuff but then act crazy when you provide it. The ww was the first to run out. Everybody knows it or has heard of it. So that was a very good grow as well. It came out freaking great. The Tut was tried as it was a curiousity. People were skeptical about if it could have such high THC. Then holy crap you smoke and stay high as Jesus for over 4 hours. LOL.
The PPP was funny though. People were like thrown off by the smell at first. It was not super strong in the beginning. Plus the high was almost immediate and super strong body stone. So a very very slow mover at first. The last two weeks and half was gone. The last half of it I had. So now completely dry again. Haha. Everyone wants more of everything. I would love to get a hold of some GSC or PC. But that is not at Crop King. So I dont know. I am thinking I will just stick with the WW as it is a known. Plus people love the shit out of it. I popped 4 of the PK seeds I have from CK. They are in a paper towel now. I will have 4 clones of the PPP and 4 PK for the next grow. And then the grow after that will be PK and WW both from Crop King. Give the people what they want.

Ok so this weekend I was just watching the plants do their thing. They were awesome. The leaves grew back with a quickness. They emptied the PPMs from the res and used 15 gallons of water. No shit, the PPM went from 810 to 107 in 4 almost 5 days. Yesterday I renuted with the full line of AN bloom plus supplements. Put the PPMs back in the 900 range. They did not do that last grow. I went back and checked my notes. I have no idea why that happened.

Also they still stretched a bit over the weekend. My plans for a fairly even canopy was going down the drain. So this morning I was in there bending and pinching everything. I took a load of pics. I am going to post them now. You can see the uneven canopy and then you will see how I was bending and pinching everything. Also after only like 5 days since I did a pretty major defol on them the canopy has closed up again. Seriously they grow back FAST. So far I have been lucky when bending them. I have not snapped a branch or worse a stem. I just go really really slowly.

I understand it's what the peops want but be a salesman.. Good hydro grown stuff they will want.. you just grow it right and really it doesn't matter what strain you pick.

Of the three "quality" strain harvest's.. the pineapple chunk I already miss is my favorite...
Train wreck.. Totally opposite of the fruity PC it is much spicier and I did not think I would like but it cured delicious! it is 2nd and

WW is third... All good seeds from good houses so I am shocked but the TW I definitely liked more than the WW but of course on those I am still testing ..lol
I did not dislike the WW I did like it but it didn't have any "Wow" to the taste or smoke comparatively. Smooth , Good Tasting, Burns nice... just...
DCC and BK still curing a little.. tested but still not a good comparison.. .The pineapple chunk just blasted with flavor at the month mark. So I learned quickly that a true smoke report must be cured totally or it is incomplete. It tasted good right from harvest but changed and really came into another level after that month..

So my answer for what ever it is worth.... lol try something new...
If it is a name thing yes white widow is the biggest cannibus seller on the earth...
But I am sure you would have no issue selling off some names like

And thank LA. She has plenty of verticle but I dont want them to go verticle. I want them to do the whole 3 foot cube thing from that journal you sent me. I want my canopy to stay nice and straight like yours. I know you train a hella lot more than I but I am trying to crop my way there as opposed to the way you wire down everything. I am just to lazy to do that I think. but I love how your auto is looking at the moment. That is a nice looking plant.

Well today is the end of 4 weeks since flip. The plants are showing a small Cal/Mag def. I added a bit (50mL) earlier in the week. But I guess it was not enough. I added 60mL today. We will see how that works. I will keep a better eye on it. I did not add any other nutes or supplements. The res ppm was 950 before the cal/mag. So it is 1100 now. I dont want to go over that. I also added too much water. Had a pretty big overflow. That sucks. Nothing serious but it is a pain to mop up.

If anyone is following FE's journal you already know there is a bunch of good info on it. For those that arent, you need to get over there and read. There is a bunch of really good science info and growing theory going on. I am loving what is being put out there. FE thanks again for such a great and informative journal.

Now back to mine, , the plants are looking really really good at the moment. Even with the def and me spilling water, the bud sites are spitting out pistils and they are also putting on the trichs. Yup, they are frosting up again. It seems like ages since I had frosty buds to look at but it really has only been 7 weeks (I went back and checked dates lol). I am loving this. The canopy is not as even as LA's, but it is pretty awesome. I did take pics and get them uploaded. So with out further adu:

These next 2 are to show the lower nodes that are exposed to the light thanks to the bending and defol done last week.

And this last one is just a pretty nice top nug, that in a few weeks will be (crosses fingers) a really nice cola.

So please let me know what you guys think. I am pretty stoked at the moment. I really believe that my yields will be much better this time around. It is still way to early to be guessing. I am just pretty stoked atm. Thanks guys. Have a great weekend.

Bama you should be stoked. That defol is what the doctor ordered and they are showing a multitude of bud sites because of it. Do you plan on defol again or will you ride it out?
