I solved my dilemma. I realized that one of my potential choices didn't have any "...of the month" notifications under their user name, so I thought, "Wouldn't it be nice if that could change."
Got my vote in early THIS time so that I didn't remember the contest, rush to vote... and see that a winner had already been announced, lol.
