Putting this together took less time than walking into the hardware store, all the way to the back, selecting the bits and paying for it. Less than 15 minutes. The existing is the 5x5 the middle one will be the 4x8 in a a week or so when we up pot and take 18 upstairs -‘and the one pictured is for this grow. All connected up to the existing tanks and pump.
It will take The Lad somewhat longer to fit the pipe and emitters… he’s got small fingers though, easier for him

He’s OK at the setup bit. Just careless with everything else - or worse, he tries to think for himself. This often ends badly for me. 
The hardware store would have been much faster if you didn't take so much time choosing the perfect shade of blue.

That one just has blue and green (hot water) No need to go to a specialist store for yellow and white. (lights and electricity) There’s at least one employee on every aisle, 2:1 staff to customer ratio and they know where nothing is. standard response is “So sorry we don’t sell that” Buying the dehumidifier I was told they don’t sell them. Next aisle there was a massive display with loads of them, some promotion on dehumidifiers. Then you checkout with the slowest POS system in the world and they have no bags, don’t even sell reusable ones.
Sometimes they have a box for you but we normally buy garbage bags. Its the size of an out of town supermarket. Big box store sized and there’s never more than 20 people in there at any one time.
Its a nice stroll though, looking at stuff to solve some problem real or imagined, well apart from being greeted by staff on every aisle

It not your sort of movie but the first Equalizer movie of the Denzel Washington trio ends in a hardware store at night. Russians with assault rifles v. Denzel with what he can find on aisle 17,
Cool song with it as well. I often find myself daydreaming about it when I’m told, “So sorry we not sell hoseipe” (they have a quarter aisle dedicated to hosepipe, about 30 types)

Plants looking good, bit pale maybe, irrigation tonight and hopefully I'll get the invoice for the new light upgrade today to get things moving a little quicker.

A day of progress. Paid the balance on the @Mars Hydro FC4800 Evo today. I think I’m dealing with the US or European even office based on message times. They’re trying to reinvent the wheel with shipping. There’s something called DDP shipping so no tax on the door as its coming from China which is part of rhe ASEAN trade block. They’re talking Fed Ex who will hose me with extra charges, the worst for that. Hopefully the PRC office will sort it out. About Ten Days™ until delivery.
That’s why the pipes are above the pallet - to maximise the little light its up high but has very little footprint so the plants are all fitted in a tight pattern. When the new light comes we’ll spread them out a little and neaten up the irrigation pipe.
I’d also like two emitters per Solo. Even up the watering. I can either add a new manifold or see if I can get Y shaped connectors. Going to have a look online now.
Reckon another few days and they’ll start to kick on a little bit.
Below the line there’s the other two grows. I picked my plants for the flower room:

6x Mim x OP
7x Ayahuasca Purple
3x CBD Warlock
= 19
Then in this 8x4 pictured
3x Royal Cookies
3x Mim x OP

= 12 + 1x ea Panty Punch and OG Kush Autos
All this up potting to 5 and 3 gallon airpots is going to happen in a week all being well. Then evrything gets harvested in a two week window first week of February. & Co gonna be trimming Valentines Day

Looks to be a couple of phenos in there. I’d call them Classic and Lanky. Lanky is taller, bigger spaced nodes. classic is Bushy. Looking good. Nice deep greens. My sensors (Skin & Eyes™) tell me its way humid in there. High as 85-90%. Its hot too. 32-35c - they’re looking great though. I’ll watch them. Maybe do some HVAC stuff tomorrow - the extractor doesn’t seem up to much but honestly I’ll probably just open a vent or something if they look worse for wear.

There’s gonna be 12 more in a couple of days. I ordered another manifold last night so I can run two drippers per pot. So they get watered more evenly. The manifold was like $6 and I’ve got all the bits and pieces lying around.All those hoses look like Darth Vaders bathroom.
