Lady Cannafan's Seedsman Comparative Grow Banana Jealousy ViparSpectra KS5000

I'm on it! Ya gotta get on em' as soon as you see even one! I've never had them get out of control, thank goodness. I use the hydroton clay pebbles to help prevent them laying their eggs in the soil, and I really think it does help. I believe I used diatomaceous earth as a top layer on the soil in a couple of grows as well.
I used gnatrol on my peace lily that had a pretty good infestation and both of the SNS products on the MJ and had good luck with both. Haven’t seen a gnat for weeks but, use the stickies anyway just in case.

Hey everybody
Get in on the free giveaway at Artrix! Don't miss this opportunity. Deadline is approaching in a few days.

One of the clones is going into this giant clay pot and placed on the covered screened porch. It gets lots of sun on the east end of it, so it should do well. I've put weed plants there before and it turned out fine, but the pots were not nearly as large.
Almost transplanted today, but I'm going to wait a day or so yet. I'll just put a bag over it if we get a frost warning. That thing is waaaaay too heavy to try to bring inside. I am not sure how many gallons, at least 6-8. Probably more.

Update All Plants 4-27-24
It's getting tough for individual pictures now, so here's a set of garden shots. I made some room by moving Annie onto her own platform which puts her canopy more even with the rest, and the same with Meg, off to the right.

Mr. Moose in the outhouse is happy. He's finally getting some shade in the woods while he does his biz and reads the local Moose Times.
Outhouses and heat....well....not a good thing to sniff.

Well, I had to take care of a critter that broke into my screened porch last night before I could plant anything in the pots.
The pots were ready, but the soil was scattered everywhere this morning. Thank the plant gods I didn't put those kids in the pots yesterday like I was thinking of doing.

Won't have anymore problem with that. 😏

So, I planted one of the clones from the solo cups in the large clay pot, and I have one planted in a 5 gallon plastic pot. One from Lois and one from Bonnie. I'll be watching freeze warnings and either bring them in or cover them.
I'll have some pics in the morning.

daaaamn thats beauty right there!

Thank you @marcus611a , and @StoneOtter , and everyone else who hits the likes/loves.

As promised here are the two clones now in outdoor planters. The one in the clay pot looks soooo tiny. LOL
The sun finally came out a bit ago, so they are getting some needed warmth. It rained hard all morning.
I am, at the moment, safe from 4 legged critters. I still have some dirt to clean up.

Edit: I need to put a couple of growth sticks in the pots so I can keep track of them and make sure they're growing.

WooHoo! You have a full GREEN house! All beauties!
Exactly what he said 👆 garden is loaded and ready to rock!!! 👌 And congrats on on getting your ladies going outdoors, a new journey begins 💚

Lady how many Banana Jealousy do you have growing. Just another thorn asking a question. 🍋
Without thorns we would not exist. ;-)

I have 6 Banana Jealousy full plants indoors, along with three of the RQS/Tyson plants.
Outdoors at the moment are just the two Banana clones.

It's cold today, there isn't going to be much growth with the outdoor ones the next couple days. Temps aren't going to be great, and more rain expected.

Update 5-1-24

One of the outdoor girls is growing, you can see the growth from the line on the stick the day it was planted.
The other one is just about the same. Was a little concerned with that one from the start when I cut it for cloning. A bit yellowish on the leaves and the tips were brown. I'm going to give it a shot of cal/mag today and see what happens.
Temps have been in the low 50's at night and below 70 during the days, with rain. So, I'm not expecting much until it warms up.

I have one more clone from the 13th from Bonnie that has finally got some roots. Sure took her sweet time. I'm giving it another day, then into a solo cup.

The broken one from Annie appears to have a small root started, but it's only been 5 days or so. It's got a few days to go to tell for sure.

Today is feed/water day for the plants. I'm debating on the flip happening tonight. I'll chew on that today.
