As soon as I'm feeling up to it I'll try to get caught up. Until then, my posts may be a bit sparse, as I can't seem to get over this as quickly as I'd like.

Wow bro...you have like no spots without resin glands!! That is just fantastic to look at. Your PE looks incredible, may I ask how much longer you plant on letting her go? I've read 49-53 days from some reviews and 55-63 from others?

Great question. I've been feeling so rough that I've not been doting on the gals as much. Today, it's come to my attention that the PE actually looks pretty close to done, especially compared to the other plants. I need to take a look at her trichomes and give a bit closer inspection, but I'm guessing she's pretty close by the looks of her. If I had to guess, this will be a spot on 8-weeker (56 days from flip) or so... If you counted only flowering days instead of from the flip, your talking more like the 49 days you mentioned. Just guessing based on my most recent peek in - I need to take a closer look when I can.

So much has happened. I love that you got member of the year...you sooo deserve it. I agree with all the wonderful things said already. I don't want your head to explode so I won't say anymore. Just kidding...really you're the Man. I love your journals. You make us all feel like family. And you take such care to explain yourself/methods/style... yada yada.

BTW - The girls look Great!!! Really nice development going on in your garden. Love the PE, mine looked the same...really red hairs and tight compact buds. I can't wait for you to smoke her. And the Jilly Bean is fabulous, I'd really like to try that one...I'm with the others...420mag needs smellovision or scratch n sniff ... did someone say something about teleportation? Vortex also looks like it's gonna give you some nice meds. Hell they all are beautiful...very nice job.

I have to honestly say, I'm delighted that you dropped by, and I'm hoping that means you are feeling a bit perkier. Thanks on the MOTY thing - I feel really honored and overwhelmed by all the positive feedback in this regard. I have great respect for you as a person and a grower, so your comments are truly meaningful to me as well.



The PE is really pretty. What a wonderful plant - I just hope it vapes/smokes as good as it looks. I can't wait to try her! This harvest should be a fun one when it's all said and done. I'll definitely dedicate a bowl or two to you, my friend.

Thanks man, I have been thinking the same thing about your pics lately. I swear, you keep elevating your grow and your pics to awesome levels. BTW, I loved your picture/photo tutorial you put together - very helpful!

LOL on the wife having a Jillybean head. Sometimes I think of my "gals" to take my mind of of pain issues I deal with, and it really helps. I can really visualize them and it brings me a feeling of peace.

Oh, and just be sure to not light your wife. Though, maybe a little contact buzz might be nice...

I am lucky that the Flo N Gro is a pretty self sufficient system. I have left it pretty much on auto-pilot for a few days. All I've really had to do, is top off the reservoir with fresh water each night.

I love it! I went for some BPN Vita Blue instead - has a pretty broad range of vitamins, amino acids and other yummy products to make me feel better... All kidding aside, I really did soak in a tub with Epsom Salts that I had on hand for the plants!

Hey everyone!

As you can probably see, I'm feeling a little better. However, it's been a rough one, and I've still got a ways to go before I'm 100% I think. I can't thank you all enough for the positivity. I've been peeking in now and then as I feel up to it, but it might be a couple of days before I'm able to get caught up and truly feeling a bit more energized.

In the meantime, as I mentioned to UG, I've got a PE that's getting pretty close I think. I still need to check trichomes, but the false seed-pods are filling and fattening with resin nicely, and a significant portion of the pistils have reddened and withered. I can't imagine it will be much more than a week before it's ready. I should get a better idea as soon as I can inspect the trich's a bit closer and sample a bud or two. She sure looks good! The Pre-98 Bubba is looking close as well.

If this is of interest to you, check this link out when you have a moment - it explains my process for harvesting and when to harvest, etc. Also, there's a very good video there posted by Tomatofarmer that's worth the watch, which is very in-line with how I go about harvesting for the most part:

Jillybean looks like she's wanting to take a bit longer, unless she's a quick finisher. However, she's really thickening up day by day, and should be a decent yielder I think - as she has a lot of tops in the sweet spot of the lighting. Same goes for Humboldt, although she probably won't yield like Jillybean.

Vortex, looks pretty close, too. But, she's got such tiny (though beautiful) buds! Having said that, they are in the category of "insane" frostiness, and it's one of the best smelling plants I've ever grown. I'm hoping the quality is good, because the quantity won't be. Even since the last pics, the trichomes have continued to pile on noticeably, and the leaves are really curling over at the edges from all of the trich's.

I posted this image before, but it really illustrates the difference between "Vortex" and the "Humboldt" behind it!
