I love a foxtailing beauty. What a gorgeous plant. Keep them coming. :slide:.

Soooooo glad you're back. The way people slip in and out of a virtual world can be maddening and you're never really sure around here, with so many using cannabis for serious concerns. You made my day.

That is awesome looking! I love the fox tailing. Glad you're doing OK.

Sent from this funny device I carry around and still call a phone even though I hardly ever make calls with it.

Morglie, everytime I read one of your posts I have to chuckle. My iPhone is used to take and post pictures to 420 Magazine and to give me another doorway in when I'm multitasking here. Lol! I probably make less than a dozen phone calls in a busy week.

I'm going to jump on board the train and tell you how relieved I am to see you posting again. Issues with teeth are no joke and them going unattended can spell big trouble. I once had an infected wisdom tooth, I went to my Dr not knowing that's what it was. He put me on antibiotics and sent me to an ear nose and throat specialist due to not knowing what the cause was. The ear nose and throat Dr looked at me for 5 seconds and poked me in the facking tooth and told me that was the problem. I made the appt with my dentist which was another week or so out. I was on the antibiotics for long enough to start having a reaction to them before I saw the dentist. After the dentist looked at me they tried telling me I had to set up an appointment to come back in a couple of weeks. I almost lost it. The whole reason I made the dentist appt was to have the tooth pulled. They ended up pulling it that day but only after bitching about it being infected and not being able to take antibiotics any longer for it. What a run around that was.

After the rant I do want to say that I have been waiting to see all of your lovely strains get displayed. Seriously thinking about picking up a pack of pineapple fields and blue magoo bx2 when I get money.

GreenYeti and everyone else, thank you from the bottom of my heart. It is something else coming back and hearing that people were thinking of you. It means that in my darkest hours of pain there were people sending good vibes and green energy, smoking or vaping for me when I could not! Helping me heal and come back. I have now coughed up several coke cans worth of phlegm (no joke). Those antibiotics really left me open to the flu this year. I do have some nice pics and after the weekend will get to posting them. I am so high again taking smalll dabs. This Gorilladosha is serious medicine. And the pineapple fields is just crazy. My newest most fav Pineapple fields pheno has given me 8oz in the space I normallly get 5oz. And it is the most delicious. Diesel, pineapple, and some sort of engine lubricant. Wow she is deserving of the "pineapple roadkill" description they give. My other PF girls are untried as of yet. I have a super black purple combo pheno, and the Ms. U foxtail pheno you see above which should be a skyrocket sativa high. Much love today. I'm headed out to a basketball game at lunch and to see Rogue One tonight at the 3D IMAX. I'm finally feeling better and my heart is beaming today.

Hello Shiggity! I was wondering, do you use UVB light? Can you see any difference in brix levels with or without the light. I got this idea of making my own light and I wonder if adding UVB/UVA tube for my plants is gonna do any good. It works for animals so I thought it cannot hurt. I do not have a brix meter and do not plant getting one in near future because I need other gear (fans, lights) to get in check. That's why I'm asking you. Thank you for your reply. I like your journal and will be following it read it after it reaches the top of my long queue. Cheers man, happy growing! :Namaste:

Tomula I don't have any UVB specific lights but have heard great things about them. Some of my LEDs have UVB supplemented and I am installing 3 CMH in the grow for this next run which have a good amount of UVB. I am interested in some additional as well but haven't made the jump yet. But from all I have read the plants dontespond by producing more trichs which make sense because they protect the plant.

Thank you for reply. The plants do not make more trichs but they grow bigger trichs. That's I've learned so far. The LEDs on lights are UVA, because decent 1W pure UVB light 280-315nm is like 150$+ per chip. And that's little pricey :) I'm planning to add some T8 tubes for desert animals, adding minutes/hours up every day. The cannabis that comes from Hindu Kush region (one of the more UV light intense part of the world) should be happy if some is added. I think it is one part of the spectrum that is missing in the indoor gardens today. I also think it will help with bugs and mold. Unfortunately the bulb is loosing the intensity after a year but it costs 20$. I wonder how will the CMH perform. Good luck with those. :Namaste:

I am excited to see how the cmh lights work for you. I have been thinking about making the to them but have been waiting to see what sort of results others get. I would need at least 3 of them and really don't want to spend that sort of money without knowing how they will preform. :thumb:

Try to dig some in Completed journals. I bet there will be some journals with CMH. Cheers! :Namaste:

I will try to look some more. I searched at one point and only found bits and pieces but it was more so discussions and no journals that used them that I found. So from what I had seen it was mostly anecdotal results. Thanks for the idea.

Check out Icemud. He ran the earlier CMH tech, driven by a 400W hps ballast. He's studied lighting and spectrum - very sharp on the subject. Heck, if you ask him in his current thread, he'll probably tell you more than you want to know. :cheesygrinsmiley:
