Ub 801

I pinched their main stem and they repaired it, growing into a knot. That seemed to delay top growth and let the side branches grow out and up. Maybe when the main stem heals, it's stronger than before and can support a large cola? No idea. The Critical that I didn't pinch the stem of was much weaker in structure than the others and had a smaller cola (22 grams).
.

Oh well thats what I do. Im thinking about adding 1200 more watts of led but idk maybe that be overkill. When you create the knots create them every 2-4 inches and try to create the where branches join the main stem so it reinforces the whole area stem and branches. You can also if you are strong enough press the knots to form even bigger knots. Anyways, good job.
Great info guys. I'll go that route on one of my new Street Girls. I remember you talking about this before Joe but I was a lot greener at the time. It may have been no longer than a month ago but we learn so much so fast here stuff always seems like old news.

How's life treating you Mr. Rico Suavay?

I do it almost continuously until about week 3 in flower. When doing it in veg I start when the plant is no longer a seedling because at that stage it is trying to rapidly grow and doing all it can to stay alive so I dont want to mess with that process by adding stress and diverting plants energy to heal itself. I dont continue to far into flower because you want all the growth to focus on flower production and not trying to heal itself then. Its a relatively large sweetspot but once the plant heals it forms big knots where it heals at and those knots support thicker flowers more leaves and it stores nutrients in the knot allowing the plants to use up and store more nutrients. This all adds significantly to the yield. I tend to give my plans so many knots it looks like a gnarled tree and then once I am satisfied with the amount of knots is when I defoliate. I never knot and defoliate at the same time because both of those actions stress the plant. To much stress could cause the plant to switch sex entirely. Hope that helps if you want more info feel free to private message me and I am glad to help. I just dont want to take up ricos journal although it is of help to more people with the information out in the open. You can also feel free to look at my completed journal as I have many tips and explanations in detail there.

Oh my goodness Rico, those plants are beauties! That is homegrown art.:bravo:
That super silver....what I wouldn't give to taste that.
Happy smoking :) :Namaste:

Hi Spimp :ciao:

Shall I compare the UB to a summer’s day?

IMG_121920.JPG

UB 801 art more lovely and more temperate.

IMG_121419.JPG

Rough winds do shake the darling buds of July,

IMG_117918.JPG

And summer’s lease hath all too short a date.

IMG_119917.JPG

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,

IMG_118423.JPG

And often is his gold complexion dimmed;

IMG_120219.JPG

And every fair from fair sometime declines,

IMG_118723.JPG

By chance, or nature’s changing course, untrimmed;

Bloody stunning my friend I'm all like WHAT!!!!! :) such nice frosty big as buds and then the super silver Damn!!!! Really chuffed for you :)

Hi SG :ciao:

IMG_120728.JPG

But thy eternal summer shall not fade

IMG_117622.JPG

Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st,

IMG_117418.JPG

Nor shall death brag thou wand’rest in his shade,

IMG_116916.JPG

When in eternal lines to Time thou grow'st.

IMG_117324.JPG

So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,

IMG_115619.JPG

So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

Update's with pictures can often be seen.
Glimpses of the past.
But Sonnet's are rare like a white berry turtle,
and those are the images that last.

The Cola's that hang reward the hard work,
and the Clipper is looking quite ripe.
The C99 sits in her matryoshka grow box,
while the 12/12 makes her shape right.

The Bunker is Safe, the Plants are Pristine,
With Rico in Charge, all Will stay Green.
:Namaste:

Is that another harvest you just did Mr. Suavay?

Is that another harvest you just did Mr. Suavay?

Yes, Reg :ciao: I have been piecemeal-harvesting to minimize wardrobe stress.

These are from the last Super Silver, the ones on the right are ready and the ones on the left are freshly harvested.
