Everything's green over here! and big. Some might say too big... Some...

It is safe to say that my father and I will be filling our future tents with future PlatinumLED lights. We will mostly likely fill the remaining space in the 8x8 with more P900's and our veg tent will likely have a strong set of Veg-Veg P600's. The plants just eat these lights up. Every day at lights on every plant is reaching towards them.

I was already satisfied. Now, I'm MORE satisfied!

This Big Momma right here is 33 inches tall and over 40 inches wide! I count about 18 tops.

Nah, my Father and I are on this growing journey together. He himself has never tried smoking, and probably won't until he retires, but he has enabled me to give it a real try, as I am a legal medical patient.

But he's caught the growing bug. I can tell. We both do a daily walk through of the garden. It's really really cool.

Your plants are PERFECT. They have that electric, waxy, alert look to them. You are very high brix with this one bro....about as good as can be!

I think if you cleaned up the lower branches and fed just a tad stronger from here on out you'll harvest bud such that the first time you smoke it you have a new pivot point in your life: .....Once I had high brix weed.... or, "Before" I had high brix weed.....

Seriously, you're so on it. Your clones have it about them too. Just up the feedings a bit and clean up the lower branches and you should see a blizzard.

On edit: after looking through the pics a couple more times to see that lovely green, I noticed the very earliest signs of 'taco' leaves on one shot. Top dress some epsoms for the win.

That's awesome that your growing with your pop. If mine lived close he would be into the growing part too not sure about smoking it though. My father in law got all pissed last time he visited because of the garden and me smoking in the house. The other day my wife told him I was finally able to get off the meds and he wanted to know how. When she told him medical MJ his response was oh.. He's kind of a dick so I didn't expect much different. At least he lives a few thousand miles away

About how much in cups should I top dress do you think? They are in 5 gallon and 10 gallon smart pots. And which plants should get the salt?

I'd give them all about 2 tblspns top dressed. Put some water/drench down the top each time, in addition to in the saucers.

How far up would you trim my plants? half way up? does that mean taking of secondary branches as well? maybe the ones that Won't get optimal light?

I would be more worried about your soil being able to keep up with the combo of smaller pots and big plants. Those lights have a lot of penetration.

I don't want to tell you how much to hack off because I am still figuring that out on my own, every time is a new experiment and it depends on a lot of things like pot size, strain, feeding schedule, lights etc. What I do (and I don't know if this is ideal) if I wait that long is look for anything that isn't as developed as the higher buds and take those nodes off and any branches coming out of the mains that are lower or on the edges and out of the light coverage. I also try and leave most of the fan leaves on where possible for more surface to spray.

I think to change your title you need to report your post to a mod and ask to have it changed.

Photo time! I really hope I'm allowed to just dump my pictures into this thread. Hope yall don't mind and I'm not breaking forum rules, I just don't have THAT MUCH free time.

I'm loving the High Brix Blend and these PlatinumLEDs more and more each day! I already used up my first kit, so I just decided to make the switch to bulk purchases. For just around 100 bucks I've got everything I'll need for... well a long time! And I even bought a second kit to give to a friend who recently decided to try growing! He's already started plants in soil that I had from my first kit, and his first AUTO is already halfway through flower! Gotta snag some pictures, but its a BEAUTIFUL healthy little Brix princess!

Some of these pictures show my first 3 successful clones EVER. They are the first plants that I can say "look like the pictures", in terms of leaf sheen and waxyness. I'm very excited about those 3.....

The 2 bigger plants next to the 3 clones look a little strained under the dual VEG P600 I've got in that 2X4 tent... Overkill? LOL NO. They will be happy later! NO PAIN NO GAIN!


QUESTION:

1. Are my plants ready to get the Cat Drench now? I hope I didn't miss the optimal window. I was thinking I would wait until the buds were just a little more thick and dense before Cat Drenching...

Upon looking at these pictures again, I see that some of my girls have slightly browning fan leaves up top. Methinks my roots could be happier... I plan to heavily water with RO and 1/2 strength Transplant Drench for everything.

Also, DAMN that dual veg P600 is doing work! I think it may be putting off enough PAR to give my girls some "outdoor" looking leaves. But I'll be the first to say I'm wrong, I am certainly not experienced with any outdoor plants. Maybe Doc could enlighten me?

Yep, Cat drench is good to go. Again yep....lots of light makes the leaves a bit thicker and "ridgier" but also green and waxy....like yours.

Very well done! Keep the soil energy up for the next bit and you should have something special.

So I did just water with half strength transplant about 10 minutes ago. Should I wait to cat drench? 5ml per plant? Maybe more for the girls in 10 Gallon pots? Sorry doc, these questions ooze out of me!

Next watering give the Cat Drench. I like the 5 mil per plant as long as all of it gets to the plant and doesn't run off. They'll take off.
