puregreen ran a side by side, one auto topped, the other not. The topped plant had thicker buds and more of them. It was Ed Rosenthal Auto so it could have been strain related. Just thought I would pass on the information.

I agree its a strain dependency thang.
There are several cats that swear by topping autos.
I'm open to trying it on one or more of em.
However....Its time to medicate! Would you join me?
I have some Gorilla Glue 4 nugs AND some GG4 wax to entertain us.

Man...so this is my 1st time trying the GG4 in ANY form, ok?
Then I loaded my Mighty vape with GG4 flower and topped it with a lil tiny pinch of the wax.
I hit the vape, it was tasty and potent. I would describe the flavor as sour dank with a chem undercurrent.
I savored about 3 long pulls and put it down.
I coughed but not cause its harsh....but cause its strong.
I'm stoned and loving the high...oh shit wait my bad here take this...

arteekay and Jay swear by topping autos. They have that down to something of a science, and it doesn't matter what strain they're running. I'd check out their continuous success and consider topping yours.

Today I wanted to post a photo update and ask input.


My brix seedlings are looking nice!
Starting to see the waxy look coming on the leaves.

Today is day 11 from seed and I want to know when I should up pot to the 1 gal?
Is this the time for me to use the de-stress and roots for transplant?
The Pineapple Fields are looking vibrant with strong stalks!

On the right...you will see a new Pineapple Fields joining the party.
In the middle I have two TH bubblegm and HSO 707 Truthband.

If you look to the upper left of the tray you will see my newly sprouted Platinum Huckleberry Cookes!

Wait till you have 5 sets of leaves before foliar feeding.

I'd give those another week in the small containers before transplanting. Are you dunking them? Letting them dry out between watering?

I am letting the cups dry before watering.
I guess I am dunking, as I pour water in the tray and thru the top.
The cups have openings underneath. I have only been using tap water.

I believe Doc recommends waiting until you have 5 sets of leaves before any feeding. I sprayed that young with 1/2 strength Destress with no ill effects.

As far as the transplant, I started my seeds in 1 gallon pots, so I probably wont be much help. I would venture to guess that you could do it at anytime you feel you can do it safely without damaging the root system. I'm new to growing, so I would be scared to transplant until I thought I had enough roots to hold the soil together after they dried out a bit. I'm assuming you've done this before though... lol

I've also seen others feed when they were young like yours and not cause any problems. I think 1/2 strength Transplant, Roots, and 1/2 strength Destress would be perfectly safe.

hey Stage...how's all...nice lookin tent. Would like to see you stop using tap water brotha,...our soil will perform way better without hurting the biota. RO , distilled , well water (tested), are preferred over tap water for growing. If your tw has chlorine and , or chloramine in it as well as other nasties the biotta die off. Just sayin Stage , it's very important. Cheers , and have an awesome Saturday.
